Eligibility Criteria

IEIIC International Embodied Intelligence Innovation Competition

This competition is open globally to both teams and enterprises. Submitted projects must closely align with the embodied intelligence industry, with a primary focus on the application of AI agents in broad sectors such as industrial manufacturing, consumer services, and public welfare. Projects must demonstrate technological innovation, feasibility, and commercial potential. All participants are required to agree to and comply with the following conditions:

Intellectual Property

Projects must possess independent intellectual property rights, free of ownership disputes. Participants must submit relevant IP documentation (e.g., patents, software copyrights) and sign an original work declaration.

Entity Reputation

Participating individuals, teams, and enterprises must maintain a positive social reputation with no significant negative records. Companies must provide a statement confirming no major legal violations; individuals and team members must declare no history of academic misconduct or other unethical behaviors.

Overseas Team Composition

To reflect the international nature of the competition, projects from outside Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan must have core teams primarily composed of non-Chinese nationals or individuals with overseas study/work experience.

Material Authenticity & Liability

All submitted materials, including but not limited to technical proposals, demonstration videos, and data, must be authentic and valid. Any form of misrepresentation is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification and potential reporting to affiliated institutions.

Registration Limits & Commitment

An individual, team, or enterprise may submit only one project per competition cycle. Successful registration implies that the participant has read, agreed to all above terms, and commits to complying with all subsequent arrangements and final decisions by the Organizing Committee.

The competition forges a "6C" innovation-enabling ecosystem, delivering comprehensive growth support for all participating projects:

Chance

Guided by market applications, the competition provides participating teams with tangible market opportunities from the scenario‑based application perspective. Focusing on the embodied intelligence industry and leveraging Changshu’s manufacturing foundation, it guides innovators into core scenarios of the real economy. The emphasis is on advancing intelligent agents' capabilities in autonomous perception, intelligent decision‑making, and physical interaction across broad fields such as industrial manufacturing and public services. Furthermore, by releasing the Changshu City Opportunity List for the Innovative Development of the Embodied Intelligent Robotics Industry, the competition precisely identifies opportunities for industrial cooperation and scenario implementation.

Connect

The competition’s organizers, supporters, and partners include leading domestic and international universities, research institutes, and industry associations. Featuring three competition zones—overseas, domestic, and online—spanning six core innovation hubs, it connects global technological, production, and supply‑chain resources. It also brings together resources from Suzhou/Changshu’s ecosystem of “anchor enterprises, innovative SMEs, research institutions, and pilot platforms,” forming a global collaborative innovation model that covers “demand identification – R&D – verification – mass production.”

Capital

Comprehensive funding support for settled projects. The competition offers up to RMB 100 million in total support. Projects establishing a presence in Changshu can gain priority access to industrial parks, anchor enterprises, and supply‑chain resources; connect with global industry funds and investment institutions for equity financing and government subsidies; and are eligible for Changshu’s talent programs, which provide support for residency, housing, children’s education, and more.

Cost

Low‑cost innovation and development. The competition fosters a closed‑loop “R&D – pilot testing – application” ecosystem, providing full‑spectrum testing and certification services, including core performance tests and safety function evaluations. It offers access to an industrial internet platform simulation environment, precision manufacturing laboratories, and intelligent sensor calibration centers, delivering nano‑level processing and core component calibration services. A 5G full‑scenario testing environment and a digital twin simulation platform are also provided, along with explosion‑proof/water‑resistant testing cabins to meet diverse technical verification needs.

Convenience

Convenience in both production and life. In collaboration with the Changshu Municipal Government, the competition offers OPC teams a convenient production‑living ecosystem. Benefits include rent reduction, ready‑to‑move‑in facilities, free shared workspaces, and open‑access resources, creating a “10‑minute” work‑life circle. Additionally, Changshu’s 2,000 designated‑scale manufacturing enterprises provide a cost‑effective “half‑hour” production support network.

Community

The competition collaborates with platforms such as the Ivy Talent Harbor to deliver one‑stop entrepreneurial services. It facilitates technology exchange groups and startup mentorship, builds a vibrant talent community, and provides round‑the‑clock, full‑chain, and end‑to‑end support for participants.
